in the beginning

Why hello there!  Welcome to Very Vanilla. After thinking about this project for entirely too long, I have finally managed to start - and I could not be more excited! I work for a website so I tend to go running in the opposite direction of the computer once the day is done, enter: cooking, knitting, or just some good old fashioned puttering at my craft table.  That said, I have been dying for a creative outlet to collect my ideas, projects, and sources of inspiration - would love to journal but my handwriting is terrible (it's pretty, just not generally legible). So then, it's spring, I just got back from an amazing 2 week trip, and motivation is strong-the time is ripe!
